What do removalists cost in Wollongong?
Our whole price list is three flat hourly rates: $250 an hour for 2 movers and 1 truck, $350 an hour for 3 movers and 1 truck, and $500 an hour for 4 movers and 2 trucks. Time runs from load start to unload finish, travel between the two included. There are no other fees. The rates page explains how we estimate hours honestly.
How far ahead should I book?
A week or two ahead is comfortable for most moves. End-of-month days and Saturdays fill first, and if your building needs a lift booking that is usually the slower moving part, so start there.
Why is there no phone number on this site?
Enquiries come through the form so nothing gets lost or misheard, and you get a callback on the number you leave. Every detail you type rides along with the enquiry, which beats a phone scribble every time.
How fast will you get back to me?
Your enquiry lands with a real person who calls you back to talk through the move. That conversation, not a bot, is where your estimate comes from.
Do you do small jobs, like one sofa?
Yes. Hourly means hourly: two movers for a single heavy hour is a perfectly good booking, and it is how most single-piece and partial moves run.
What if it rains on my move day?
We move anyway, prepared. Rain is normal work on this strip, especially under the escarpment where the long-run averages are genuinely higher than the CBD's. Covered staging, wrapped fabric pieces, floor runners at both ends. The wet-day guide has the full drill.
Stairs, steep driveways, no lift: does that change things?
It changes the plan, not the honesty. Tell us about the access and we will size the crew and the truck for it. What stretches moves is not stairs; it is stairs nobody mentioned.
Can you move a piano, pool table or safe?
Usually yes, with the right hands and sometimes the right gear, and it is always a tell-us-first item. Put it on the form and we will confirm what it needs on the callback.
Do you cover the whole Illawarra?
Helensburgh to Kiama, escarpment to sea, plus the corridor to Sydney and long-distance runs beyond. The areas page lists every stop on the strip with measured drive times.
Do you pack too?
Yes: packing hands on move day or a pre-pack the day before, with cartons and paper supplied at cost. A fully packed home is the single biggest thing that keeps your hours down, so if packing is not your thing, book it.
What areas do you charge extra for?
None. The hourly model is the whole model: crew time at the flat rate, wherever on the strip the job runs. Longer drives simply take their real minutes, which is why we publish measured drive times instead of zones and surcharges.
Why should I believe a company that calls itself the best?
